Not sure this is the most robust plunger you can have on hand. It’s more for looks….to match the rest of our antique bronze decor. For the price, it is what it is.

Plastic, but works and has a cover to fit as decor
It’s plastic but looks great, works and I love the cover feature. Although I found that out the hard way during use and it slid up the arm. Do recommend for use, decor and the cover should’ve been an idea years ago, no one wants to see a dirty plunger by the toilet.

The plunger portion is plastic (NOT RUBBER) and will disintegrate/deteriorate after a year or so.NOT RECOMMENDED!!

Love the look, the cover, and the tray! Have used it, and it functioned very well. Only complaint would be the smell of the rubber/plastic!! But it is fading over time.
